Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins is an Mexican American Sportcaster. She currently works for ESPN as a news anchor for SportsCenter as well as occasionally hosting SportsNation. She started working for ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter of the TV reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is a bilingual woman and has been so since when she was nine years old. The ability to speak two languages was instrumental in securing her first position at Univision, Miami. She was able to work as a producer for national programs like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. She was hired as a reporter for CBS St. Petersburg. CBS St. Petersburg affiliate after that. She moved in 2009 to Rio Grande Valley, Texas to become an anchor for the newscast of The Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. Reporters covered issues related to the issue of immigration and trafficking drugs across both Texas as well as Mexico. Also, she was a substitute for weather and sports anchors. In the end, she was appointed anchor reporter and anchor for Univision Dallas' Deportes 23. Her duties were then expanded to higher responsibilities. She reported on all of the Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS World Series and Dallas Cowboys, NBA postseason and finals FC Dallas as well. Also, she produced Univision 23's local sports programming Accion Deportiva Extra, on where she was anchor. The anchor was also the sports anchor of Despierta America Deportes morning show. She worked in the same role as Primer Impacto on UniMas Network in addition to Contacto Deportivo for its magazine show. Antonietta Collins was born in Veracruz, Mexico. She was born on 22nd November the 22nd of November, 1985 on the 22nd of November in Mexico City. Her older sister is also hers. In 1992, her family relocated from Mexico and relocated to Miami. She divorced her parents shortly following and in the year 1995, she married a naval designer called Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died in 2006 of kidney cancer. At the end of June 2006, she had an entire week with her sister in Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl was working there. Still a senior at high school, but having a clear vision of what she wanted to do with her life Antonietta visited the University of Mount Union to determine if the school was suitable for her goals. The result was that she liked the campus and that the school offered an academic program that she liked. She graduated from high school and was accepted at the university to study media studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor and also the head of WRMU and WRMU, which she's a member. They had a very close relationship. His enthusiasm for journalism and her self-confidence inspired her. Herself attempted to live up to the standards he set and to not disappoint him.
