Aurora
Aurora Aksnes, born June 15th of 1995 in Stavanger and known professionally as Aurora sometimes stylized in uppercase in the form of AURORA is an Norwegian music producer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is released in May of 2015 from Decca Records. It has received a lot of praise from music press and bloggers. Half the World Away from Oasis was released by the group Oasis was made for an ad campaign for John Lewis, and Nature Boy is a Nat King Cole cover. She gained some further recognition from a post by Katy Perry where Perry endorsed the song Runaway. Enjoy her day. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is that of finding an attic piano and being awed by the sounds it would create. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged her to learn music, not for a job or a hobby, but as an opportunity to grow. This led to her began writing songs of her own. Her sources include noted authors Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, as well as her affinity with Bjork's style. When her mother told her that her songs would not just help her gain fame, and also inspire others to see their importance in the world and realize the possibilities for the songs She decided to start singing in public. She began playing the piano as her primary instrument at the age of six. She began making music at the age of nine. They didn't even be aware until 14. Aurora isn't something she imagined as a child. The only thing she loves is to compose music. Music is her most preferred way of feeling something.
